Exit to the balcony, south facing position. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, combination microwave). Shower/WC. Heating. Parquet floors. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Panoramic view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Large apartment house "Dianthus", 5 storeys. In the district of Wiesti 650 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position on a slope. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to 150 m from the house. 100 m stepped path (52 steps) to the house. Supermarket 450 m, restaurant 550 m, bakery 650 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Spiss" 150 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 650 m. Mountain railway 650 m, ski rental 650 m, ski bus stop 150 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Please note: no lift. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Well-known, famous, car-free winter sports resort with 5'478 inhabitants, situated at the foot of the Mount Cervin with beautiful view, 34 km south from Visp. In the resort: supermarket, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, bar, disco, museum, cinema. Glacier, hiking, electrocab available in town, indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre, massage. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Lakes nearby.

Summer

Bathing lake. Tennis (1 outdoor court, 1 indoor court), golf course 9 hole in Täsch 6 km. Minigolf. Fitness course. Summer skiing. Paragliding, beach volleybally court. Mountain lifts, 400 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. 80 km mountain bike routes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. Children's playground, leisure park. In May and June, lorries are allowed in Zermatt because of building season. In these months, it is slightly noisier than during the rest of the year, when Zermatt is car-free.

Winter

Ski-region Matterhorn Ski Paradise, total of 57 lifts. 2 mountain lifts, 8 cableways, 11 cable cabins, 22 chair lifts, 14 drag lifts, 2 children's ski lifts. 70 ski runs, total length 350 km (21 % easy, 62 % intermediate, 18 % difficult), snowboard slope, snow park, halfpipe. Ski school (downhill, cross country), snowboard school, children's ski school from 6 years old, ski kindergarten from 4 years old. 17 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 45 km. 1 toboggan run. Natural ice rink, artificial ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Ski bus (free of charge). Further ski-regions: Cervinia.

Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und schön eingerichtet! Der Esstisch ist völlig untauglich, da egal mit welcher Körpergröße, man sich die Knie am Unterbau anschlägt. Der Couchbereich bietet nicht ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Leider auch zu wenige Haken/Schienen, dass 4 Personen Handtücher trocknen können. In der Dusche war der Abfluss verstopft. Bedauerlicherweise kam trotz wiederholten Anrufs kein Handweker. Nach unserem Aufenthalt war die Kommunikation mit Interhome sehr unangemessen. € 39 Entsch.

Bezüglich des verstopften Abflusses und der Kommunikation entschuldigen wir uns. Wir haben sofort einen Techniker organisiert, der aufgrund eines Notfalls verspätet war. Leider konnten wir den Besuch am Samstagabend nicht arrangieren, da dies für Sie nicht passend war. Das Problem wurde inzwischen vollständig gelöst. Ihr Feedback ist uns sehr wichtig und hilft uns, unseren Service zu verbessern. Wir hoffen, dass Sie uns in Zukunft eine weitere Chance geben, Ihnen einen angenehmeren Aufenthalt zu bieten.

Picture perfect view of the town and Matterhorn from the balcony. The apartment fits our family of 4 well, good size living room to work on things after dinner. Good set of kitchen pods and pans and dishes bowls, since we cooked daily. The apartment was remodeled, all appliances are new and working. Yes there are stairs to get to the apartment, we just left the skis in the lockers by Furi station, no big deal.

Die Wohnung befindet sich am Ende des Dorfes. Etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuss vom Bahnhof. 120 Stufen führen hinauf zur Wohnung. Der Ausblick vom Balkon über das das ganze Dorf, und die direkte Sicht auf das Matterhorn und die Umgebung entschädigen dies jedoch zu 100 %.

The apartment was spotless, spacious, very nicely finished with lots of closet space and gathering space. Bathroom was high end, heated floors. Beds were very comfy. Location is residential but the town is very walkable so never felt far from anything. There was some stair climbing to get to the building, but was well worth it. The view was incredible but contingent on weather. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for active, mobile groups or families.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit wunderbarer Sicht auf das Matterhorn!Stilvoll renoviert, mit allem was es benötigt, ruhige Umgebung. Der Weg zum Haus hat viele Treppentritte (nicht anders zugänglich), im Haus (ohne Lift) dann nochmals. Die Treppen zu den Häusern haben zwar einen Rollstuhllift, das Handling (sofern man den Schlüssel zum Lift erhält) etwas Glücksache. Wer nicht gut zu Fuss ist oder einen kurzen Weg ins‘ Zentrum wünscht, wird hier kaum happy…

Het appartement is zeer smaakvol ingericht en er is ontzettend veel oog voor detail. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Daarvoor moet je even wat trappen doen, maar dat vonden wij persoonlijk niet erg.

Nous sommes arrivés sous la pluie et l’entrée de l’immeuble un peu vieillot nous a fait peur mais l’appartement et le vue sont vraiment supers. Ne pas hésiter à prendre des valises à roulettes, ol y a un monte escalier pour les valises.
